National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus
THE  National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus has called on the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mahmoud Yakubu  to disqualify the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari.
At the zonal rally of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in Enugu, Friday, Secondus said the chairman should “disqualify Buhari for importing mercenaries from neighboring countries to influence our election.”
He said: “By the powers vested on me as the PDP National Chairman, I call on INEC to disqualify President Buhari from contesting the forthcoming presidential election for importing mercenaries from Niger.”
Secondus noted further: “We also warn INEC that they cannot reduce the votes of the South East in 2019, because on the ballot is a son of the South East, Peter Obi.”
The National Chairman formally presented the party flags to the governorship candidate and incumbent governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Senator Ike Ewkeremadu and the other National Assembly candidates.
